Understand Your True Self
To be on track with your personal or formal management development and training program, it's important that you fully understand yourself. To help you gain this self-knowledge, the use of such assessments as behavioral style and values, are effective tools. The behavioral styles tell us how we act. The values tell us why we act—our drivers. These tools help us understand ourselves better and provide ways for us to increase our performance and be more successful. We are certified on all the assessments we use, which have been validated with extensive testing. Take a moment to scan through your options below and see where you might like to begin.
Behavior Styles—Success Insights™
Research has shown that people tend to be attracted to and influenced by people whose behavior styles are similar to their own. Understanding your behavioral style and those of others will help you be more effective in communicating with your co-workers, clients, and managers. This is an excellent tool for sales people who want to be more influential with their customers. It also is a great tool for managers to use with new employees. It quickly allows a manager to zone in on the work style of a new hire and determine how to best give feedback and delegate assignments. This extra edge helps managers motivate their staff to achieve peak performance.
Get On Track
The assessment takes between ten to fifteen minutes to compete. When finished, you'll receive a 20-page report that reflects your natural behavioral style and your behavioral style at work. You'll learn the extent to which these two styles either align or conflict and why you may either be relaxed or stressed in your work environment. Additionally, you'll receive a downloadable workbook to help you analyze your report and create an action plan for success.
You can choose to purchase this assessment and complete the workbook on your own. Alternatively, you can request a one-hour debrief at an additional fee. To learn more, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our sister executive coaching site.
Behavior Styles—For Groups and Teambuilding
Corporate Vision Magazine named Taking Flight with DISC as the Best Personality Styles Training Program in the United States. Are you an Eagle, Parrot, Dove, or Owl? For groups we also offer another version of the DISC that provides a high energy, fun and inspirational learning experience that sticks. Taking Flight with DISC uses storytelling, mystery, and a bird analogy to help participants become self-aware and thus more likely to maximize their talents, better recognize and manage their challenges, and produce better results. Self-aware employees also work better with their colleagues, which enhances teamwork at every level in your organization and shapes your culture. In return, your company experiences higher morale, lower turnover, and greater profits.
We apply what we remember and the Taking Flight birds are "sticky." People retain style insights more effectively with the birds than with the letters D-I-S-C. They add colorful energy and life to training programs and create an engaging experience for participants. Check out a minute and half video below.
Check out the Taking Flight Sample Report. You can download a one-page overview, or review a brief Taking Flight PowerPoint on the button below. It has a bit more more detail about the contents of the participant manual and facilitator's guide.
